Who is responsible
Remus Teo operates this website and is responsible for personal data used to handle enquiries, operate the optional AI Concierge, manage email preferences, and provide optional website analytics. Privacy requests can be sent to remus@remusteo.com.
What is collected
If you choose to send an email, your email provider and Google Workspace/Gmail process the sender address, recipient, subject, message, and any attachment. The website opens a draft only; it does not send the email or confirm sending, delivery, or receipt.
The site stores essential language and Analytics-consent preferences. If you accept optional analytics, Google Analytics receives a normalized page path without query strings or fragments, an empty referrer value, approved campaign labels when present, coarse device/browser information, consent and session identifiers, and connection metadata processed by Google. Enquiry text, email addresses, mailto fields, form content, and Concierge prompts or responses are not sent to Analytics.
If you use the optional AI Concierge, your message, selected language, and up to six recent conversation turns are sent through the site to Google Gemini to generate a reply. The server uses connection information in volatile memory to limit repeated requests. Do not include personal, confidential, account, financial, client, company, or other sensitive information.
Purposes and consent
Enquiry information is used to respond to the specific enquiry and maintain necessary professional, security, or legal records. A speaking, media, business, or general enquiry is not consent to a newsletter, testimonial, publicity, recording, quotation, or social-media reuse. We do not sell personal data.
Concierge information is used to generate the requested reply, operate and secure the service, and enforce request limits. This site does not use Concierge text to build a visitor profile, link Analytics activity to an enquiry, or subscribe you to marketing.
Google Analytics is optional and off by default. The Analytics script, request, and cookies are not loaded before you accept. Accept and Reject are equally available. You can change or withdraw your choice through Analytics Preferences in the footer; rejection or withdrawal stops future collection and removes Analytics cookies controlled through this site.
Providers and international processing
Vercel hosts the website and processes site requests. Your chosen email provider and Google Workspace/Gmail process an email after you send it. Google processes Concierge requests through Gemini when you use that feature and optional Analytics data after consent. These providers may process data outside Singapore under their applicable contractual and legal safeguards.
Retention, access, and deletion
Google Analytics event and user-level data is configured for a two-month retention period. The non-identifying consent preference expires after 180 days or when the policy version changes. Enquiry correspondence is kept only while needed for the enquiry, necessary professional records, security, or legal obligations, and is then reviewed for deletion.
The website does not save Concierge transcripts in a site database. Vercel and Google may retain request content and technical records under the service terms that apply to the production account. Google's Gemini API terms distinguish paid and unpaid services, including whether submitted content may be used to improve Google products; do not submit sensitive information.
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal data handled by Remus, or withdraw an email preference. Provider records that must be retained for security or legal reasons may be subject to the provider's own retention obligations. Reasonable technical and access controls are used to protect information.
